libparrot5.9.0 software package provides Parrot shared library, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libparrot5.9.0
libparrot5.9.0 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libparrot5.9.0 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libparrot5.9.0 *
